Club Vela Blanes it´s going to be the site for the 2008 Womens Europeans Championship for the Yngling olympic class.

This Championship is going to be run from 30th march to 5th april, on the facilities of CVBlanes.

There will crew participants who are preparing the Olympic Games in Beijing as well as many Europeans Yngling teams that are very extended in the north of Europe.

The European Championship it´s and OPEN event and there will be participants from other non European countries who are preparing the 2008 Olympic Games. This event it´s going to be held after the Worlds in Miami and four months before the Olympic Games in Qingdao.

One of the favourite crews who will attend this Championship it´s the catalan crew formed by Monica Azón, Sandra Azón and Graciela Pisonero, twice World Champions and 2006 European Champions. There will be another youth Spanish team formed by Silvia Roca, Eva Gonzalez and Lara Carabelos.

During the last years CVBlanes has been site from big events. They have organize several Championships as Catalan Championships and National Championships for Europe and 420.

This Yachting Club of Blanes it´s one of the most important clubs in Catalonia and Spain and has also has recover one of the classic events organized in the past. International Grand Prix Vela de Blanes was years ago and important international Dragon´s regatta.
